HUman Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary operational hub for our Human Resources department, bridging the gap between employees, hiring managers, and senior HR leadership. You will handle the day-to-day administrative tasks that keep our workplace running smoothly, from managing recruitment logistics and onboarding new team members to maintaining accurate employee records and supporting company-wide HR initiatives.

1. Recruitment Support: Assist with full-cycle hiring, including drafting job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating reference or background checks.
2. Onboarding & Offboarding: Guide new hires through the onboarding process, prepare orientation materials, collect required paperwork, and conduct exit administrative steps for departing employees.
3. HRIS & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical employee files and update employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
4. Employee Relations & Inquiries: Act as a first-line contact for staff, answering day-to-day questions regarding company policies, benefits, leave requests, and general HR support.
5. Program & Event Coordination: Support learning and development activities, performance review scheduling, and internal employee engagement events.
6. Compliance & Reporting: Help ensure adherence to labor regulations, assist in generating routine HR reports, and uphold strict data privacy.

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
2. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or junior HR role.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
4. Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.

1. Systems Experience: Prior experience using specific HR systems like BambooHR, Workday, ADP, or Rippling.
2. ATS Familiarity: Hands-on experience navigating Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse, Lever, or Workable.
3. Certification: Professional HR certifications such as aPHR (Associate Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP.
4. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience working within a high-growth startup, tech, manufacturing, or healthcare environment.
5. Data Analytics: Basic experience tracking HR metrics, building spreadsheets, or generating headcount and turnover reports.
6. Legal Compliance: Foundational knowledge of local employment laws, FMLA, and FLSA guidelines.
